About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Escrow Assistant to support our escrow officers in managing complex commercial real estate transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Assist Escrow Officers in opening, processing, and closing commercial escrow transactions.
Review purchase agreements, loan documents, and related contracts for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare escrow instructions, amendments, settlement statements, and closing documents.
Coordinate with lenders, attorneys, brokers, and clients to obtain necessary documents and approvals.
Order and track title reports, payoffs, UCC searches, surveys, and other due diligence items.
Manage transaction files and ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and keeping all parties informed of transaction status.
Qualifications
Prior experience in escrow, title, or commercial real estate strongly preferred.
Knowledge of commercial real estate transactions, loan documentation, and escrow processes.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with escrow/title software a plus.
Team-oriented with a strong customer service focus.
