Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and reporting functions. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and timely reporting to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership, and a proactive mindset to manage complex finance processes across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations & Reporting

Lead monthly account closing and review financial statements

Manage general ledger entries and full set of accounts

Prepare monthly financial and headcount reports

Oversee monthly sales closing and ensure accuracy

Intercompany & Vendor Management

Handle intercompany transactions, SLA recharges, invoicing, and balance confirmations

Review staff claims and vendor payments

Manage S2B payment approvals and liaise with approvers

Register new vendors and confirm bank details

Customer & Credit Management

Support customer onboarding and conduct credit reviews

Perform credit override and OR calculations

Calculate provisions for doubtful debts, bonuses, and sales incentives

Tax & Compliance

Review VAT and WHT calculations for vendor invoices

Ensure timely monthly tax submissions for VAT and WHT

Manage corporate income tax computations and liaise with tax agents

Handle VAT registration and quarterly LKPM filings

Asset & Investment Accounting

Perform IFRS16 lease and depreciation calculations

Record investments and assets under construction

Track chart of accounts and cost centers

Calculate royalty payments and maintain provision listings

Audit, Legal & Corporate Affairs

Liaise with auditors, lawyers, and corporate secretarial teams

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Support any ad hoc finance-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Professional Certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting

Intermediate proficiency in SAP is an added advantage

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Proven ability to manage complex financial processes and cross-functional collaboration
