Responsibility:

Responsibilities of the sprinkler fitter include, but not limited to:

Install and the service of sprinkler systems.

Perform both visual and functional tests inclusive but not limited to, waterflow, backflow, dry valve, main drain testing, FA connection, or other municipal connections.

Inspect and repair various sprinkler types of systems and components ensuring system functionality inclusive but not limited to backflows, waterflows, gauges, pipe runs, valves, couplings, and threading as needed.

Run, layout, measure, thread and cut pipe.

Run main drain tests on all risers

Install or replace wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems as needed.

Read gauges and record information, noting deficiencies and ensuring pressures are within acceptable levels.

Qualifications:

We are looking for those team members that possess the following traits:

Must have commercial sprinkler fitting repair and install.

Expected to be able to work independently and with others depending on scope of work.

Ability to communicate effectively with team and other field employees.

Must be able to perform general physical activities common to the sprinkler fitting trade.

Ability to effectively use a sprinkler pipe threader.

Ohio Backflow Certification.

Ohio Sprinkler License.

Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work.

Conceptualize concepts easily and visualize potential outcomes.

Knowledgeable about technological developments.

Great attitude.

Reliable.

Productive.

Committed to safety.

Committed to being drug free.

Valid driver’s license with transportation.
