Position Overview:

The Document Controls Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the document management processes for construction projects. The role ensures that all project documentation is accurate, complete, compliant with district standards, and efficiently maintained to support construction activities and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the document control team to manage project records, including RFIs, submittals, ASIs, daily reports, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation.

Manage and maintain document control software platforms such as Procore, e-Builder, and Prolog.

Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document flow.

Conduct audits and prepare documentation for regulatory reviews, claims, or litigation support.

Train and mentor document control staff and project teams on proper documentation practices and software usage.

Monitor document workflows to improve efficiency and reduce risks related to project documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 5–7 years of document control experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.

Proficiency with document management and project control software such as Procore, e-Builder, Prolog, and SharePoint.

Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Company Description
