2nd shift 5pm Start

$20-23/hr

Kingfisher Recruiting is recruiting for a 1st shift and a 2nd shift Utility Tech for a client. This is an entry level role for someone who has a mechanical aptitude to help the company. Focus is on handling various tasks at the location to keep the business going including: Mechanical repairs, cleaning up the shop area, and any other odd tasks that come up. This is an entry level role that can lead into a Diesel Technician/Mechanic with much higher pay. An individual in this role should be promoted in under a year if they have a good attitude and are a hard worker.

Job Purpose

In your role as utility technician, you will support field operations by performing essential maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks on equipment and infrastructure. This role will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

Performing routine maintenance and inspections on company equipment, including compactors, containers, and trucks

Responding to service and repair requests in a timely and professional manner

Assisting with installation, removal, and relocation of utility related equipment

Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Completing maintenance logs and documenting all service activity accurately

Reporting safety hazards, incidents, or irregularities to management

Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

The successful candidate profile includes:

High school diploma or GED required

Mechanical aptitude or experience with tools and equipment

Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments

Strong attention to detail and safety procedures

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Valid driver’s license preferred
