Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Construction Scheduler / Analyst to support planning, execution, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPM scheduling and earned value analysis.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring project schedules are developed, maintained, and analyzed for accuracy, progress, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update critical path method (CPM) project schedules using Primavera P6.
Analyze baseline and updated schedules for compliance with contract requirements, milestone tracking, and reporting accuracy.
Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and consultants to gather scheduling input and validate logic ties.
Perform time impact analyses (TIA), schedule risk assessments, and what-if scenarios.
Prepare schedule narratives, variance reports, and earned value reports for project and program-level review.
Monitor project performance against baseline and forecast metrics; identify and report on schedule delays or risks.
Participate in construction progress meetings and represent scheduling during audits and presentations.
Support scheduling reviews during the procurement and pre-construction phases of projects.
Train and mentor junior scheduling staff or project coordinators as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or related technical field.
5–10 years of experience in construction scheduling or program analysis roles.
Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6 and strong working knowledge of MS Project.
Experience with scheduling standards such as DCMA 14-point analysis and earned value management (EVM).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analytics and reporting.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to clearly communicate technical concepts.
Certifications (Preferred):
Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP – AACE)
Project Management Professional (PMP – PMI)
OSHA 10/30 Certification
