Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Blender level 1 is responsible for, but not limited to Sampling Railcars & associated paperwork, Unloading Railcars, Board Assignments, Hooking up lines and Area Maintenance/Housekeeping.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES

This is a comprehensive list, but not limited to:

· Responsible for Sampling Railcars, filling out and turning in and / or filing associated paperwork

· Responsible for Unloading Railcars

· Responsible for Tank Gauge System (ORB)

· Responsible for Sampling Raw Materials & Finished Blends

· Responsible for Blending Connections

· Responsible for keeping the blending area and the rail yard clean and making work environment safe

· Other Assigned projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Ability to read and follow Blending instructions.

· Basic computer skills

· Basic math skills

· Attention to detail

· Forklift experience

· Good interpersonal skills and written communication skills with the ability to

· communicate well with others

· Ability to read, write and speak English

· Willingness to work mandatory overtime

· Employees are expected to work productively and safely

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: One-year experience in batch or kettle blending preferred.

One-year working with rail and tank hose connections.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Lifting up to 55 lbs.
