As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Consumer & Community Banking Self-Service Enablement team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.

Job responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of agentic applications using LLMs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable and resilient applications

Ensure strong observability and monitoring of applications to maintain high performance and reliability

Deploy applications on AWS, ensuring optimal configuration and security

Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence

Drive continuous improvement in development processes and practices

Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation

Contribute to the strategic direction of the Self-Service Enablement team Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability

Proficient programming skills in at least one language such as Java or Python

In-depth knowledge of agentic applications using LLMs

Experience in deploying applications on AWS

Proven track record in building and designing scalable, resilient applications with strong observability

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5 plus years of experience in software development and leadership roles Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Exposure to Agentic frameworks such as (Langchain, Langgraph, RASA, Parlant, Decagon, etc.)

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving innovation

Familiarity with modern development practices and tools

Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers

Knowledge of cloud security best practices
