Columbus, OH 43215nBENEFITS:nnMedical, Vision, Dental, Supplemental and Life InsurancenPaid Parental LeavenEmployee DiscountsnCOTA Bus PassnWellness InitiativesnOn-Site Chair MassagenOn-Site Health CoachnTuition ReimbursementnStudent Loan Repayment ProgramnPublic Pension through OPERS & Ohio Deferred CompensationnnnPOSITION SUMMARY:nPerforms highly professional work for successful delivery of a variety of IT and business related projects for the Central Ohio Transit Authority.nPerform other duties in alignment with the COTA Strategic Plan and in support of the organization's vision to Move Every Life Forward.nnESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:nnProvides oversight on projects to ensure requirements, deliverables, and timelines are met;nInterfaces and communicates directly with third party contractor's project manager as applicable;nLeads an internal COTA project team consisting of part-time team members assigned by project stakeholder management.

Communicates with, and schedules internal resources as needed to perform project assignments per the project schedule.

Escalates schedule conflicts and resource availability issues to project stakeholder management for resolution;nSchedules regular team meetings, documents meeting minutes, assigns and tracks performance of action items, and communicates project status via monthly status reports and/or face to face meetings with internal project stakeholders;nActs as Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for projects to ensure the third party contractor performs work at a quality level that meets COTA's requirements;nEngages internal resources as needed to verify quality performance and successful completion of deliverables, and obtains COTA stakeholder sign off approval on the deliverables;nPlays an active boundary role between internal COTA staff and third party project teams;nMaintains complete project documentation as required for Federal grant reporting purposes.nCoaches and provides training for the organization on Project Management capabilities and skills;nnMINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:nnBachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or related field and five (5) years of experience managing a wide range of complex projects required.nPMP or ITIL certification preferred.nnCOTA is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
