Facility Overview

The Athens campus offers emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services through its acute care facility.

The Etowah campus provides emergency and outpatient services and houses an 88-bed skilled nursing and long-term care facility, an inpatient geriatric behavioral health program, and an Advanced Wound Care Center.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed

Call Requirements: As Needed

Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS

Years of Experience: 2

Float Requirements: As Needed

Patient Ratios: 1:5

Electronic Health Records: MedHost, Centricity Perinatal

Patient Population: Serves all ages

Hiring Profile

Must Have Skills/Experience: IV placement, NG tube placement, fundal checks

Preferred Skillset/Experience: Med/Surg

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Bowel obstruction, hip fracture, Cholelithiasis, Appendicitis, Post Partum care

Personality Fit: Professional, team player

Required Education: Certification/Licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee

Scrub Color: Any

Unacceptable Attire: No camo; no logo shirts/sweatshirts other than Starr Regional
