Internship Overview:

As a College Intern within the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s bureau of Human Resources, you will gain practical experience in core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, and learning and development. You will work collaboratively and independently to support various HR-related projects and assignments including:

Participating in recruitment activities (e.g., applicant screening, onboarding)

Participating in employee relations activities (e.g., labor relations, EEO compliance)

Participating in learning and development activities (e.g., training, new employee orientation)

Running internal reports to support HR-related initiatives and activities

Communicating with ODM employees via phone and email

Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (undergraduate or graduate)

Preferred Major: Human Resources
