Our Cardiopulmonary department provides both diagnostic as well as therapeutic services to people with lung and/or heart disorders. These services, also known as “Respiratory Therapy” are available on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Our Cardiopulmonary staff is all National Board of Respiratory Care Registered and certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Respiratory Therapists also complete several hours of continuing education throughout the year to keep up with the current guidelines and changes in Cardiopulmonary Therapy.
The Respiratory Therapist implements and controls the administration of all Cardiopulmonary patient services in accordance with the policies of the Hospital and the directives of the Medical Staff.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy
Experience:
One year work experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Current Idaho License Respiratory Therapist · Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate
Current BLS (AHA), ACLS and PALS certification · Current NRP certification · Current STABLE certification
