Core Responsibilities
The Sr. Director Global Head of Art will form part of the LEGO agency Global Creative LT, reporting into the VP, Head of Global Creative and key responsibilities include:
Set the vision for the future of the LEGO® Brand from a visual standpoint, overseeing the brand’s output across all visual disciplines: visual identity, design, packaging design, campaign identity, digital design, lifestyle photography and more.
Lead and implement excellent brand design and creative work for the LEGO® Brand, with an eye for modern and innovative design solutions, and a deep understanding of digital and motion design.
Direct, influence and elevate the work of a large team of talented brand designers, packaging designers, creatives, studio makers to implement design solutions.
Work with our Global VP, Head of Creative to align creative and visual vision – and support them to deploy and decline them across 360 degrees communication campaigns.
Contribute with your thought leadership to the innovation of the LEGO® brand – help re-imagine at key touchpoints from packaging to campaign design.
Engage with Senior Stakeholders across the LEGO® Group to implement and evolve the vision and promote innovation through design.
Great proficiency and understanding of modern design/advertising/marketing practices.

Our LEGO Agency (OLA) is an organization that focuses on delivering best-in-class campaigns, insight driven & fit for purpose solutions across the LEGO group. The global development is driven out of The LEGO Groups head quarter in Billund, Denmark. Location wise, it has got 5 main Hubs based in 4 main regions – CPH, AMS, EMEA, China & APAC.
The Sr. Director, Head of Art position will be placed in the LEGO Agency Copenhagen Denmark Hub.
Do you have what it takes?
Min 15+ years of relevant experience with an integrated portfolio and relevant case-studies for Global Brands.
A track-record of influential design work and solutions.
Background in design, VI development, branding, art direction, digital execution and production with high level of technical craftsmanship.
Able to lead and craft design executions from brief to production.
Able to present to senior stakeholders.
Great communication and presentation skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at a time.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple colleagues and to lead and nurture teams.
Self-motivated, driven, strategic-minded and a great teammate.
Ability to prioritize, curious about learning, and growth attitude!
Experience in consumer facing design work applied to marketing and advertising campaigns.
Proficient in new technologies applied to design.
Has experience with public speaking art design conferences, industry events.
Experience with packaging, retail and/or product design.
Has worked in multi-cultural environments.
