Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Work setting: Various locations

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Ability to distinguish between colours, Hand-eye co-ordination

Job Responsibilities: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements, measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding, prepare flooring plans and scheduling, measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings, Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, estimate costs and materials, prepare floors for installations, remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, Install vinyl decking materials.
