Network Systems Engineer

Job Description

Salary: $120K+ DOE

Location: Suitland, MD (BEA HQ) Clearance: NACI (Low Risk IT Contract)

Overview:

Serve as the leadfor Microsoft and VMWare-based IT infrastructure. Provide expertise in system administration, security, and operational support for a 500+ user environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage and administer Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, and Entra ID.

Configure and maintain VMWare environments and Windows servers.

Monitor, patch, and optimize BEAs LAN, servers, and network infrastructure.

Support migration of on-premise applications to Azure cloud.

Provide recommendations for network security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.

7+ years of network/system administration experience.

Hands-on expertise with Windows Server, M365, VMware, SCCM, Intune.

Experience with enterprise network monitoring/security.
