NOW HIRING: FORKLIFT OPERATORS – SUFFOLK, VA

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Shifts: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) 3rd Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

The Lee Group is hiring Forklift Operators for a growing production team in Suffolk, VA. If you’re a reliable worker who values safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, this position offers a solid path for long-term growth.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Forklift Operator:

Transport raw materials and finished goods safely using forklifts and pallet jacks

Keep production areas clean, organized, and in line with safety standards

Sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces in designated areas to meet cleanliness protocols

Dispose of waste correctly and safely

Support machine operators with material handling and restocking

Load and unload trucks with care and accuracy

Label and store materials following company inventory systems

Perform basic equipment checks and routine upkeep as needed

What You Bring to the Table as a Forklift Operator:

High school diploma or GED

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred

Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively

Strong awareness of safety procedures and cleanliness requirements

Mechanically inclined and comfortable with minor maintenance tasks

Physically able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs

Solid communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset

Pre-Employment Requirements of Forklift Operator:

Candidates must successfully complete a background check and drug screen prior to starting.
