In this role, you will take full ownership of indirect spend at our Søborg site, build sourcing processes from the ground up, and work closely with both local teams and global category management to deliver real business value.

You will join a team of 4 strategic buyers at our Søborg site in Denmark – a team in growth mode, building tools, processes, and connections across the organisation. You will also be part of our global indirect procurement network, working with both local and international stakeholders.
Responsibilities / Tasks
As our new Strategic Buyer Indirect, you will manage the indirect spend for the Søborg site, with potential to expand your scope to additional locations. You will drive sourcing excellence, steer supplier performance, and work as a key interface between category management and the business.
More specifically, you will:
Run RfX processes, lead negotiations, and award contracts in line with category strategies
Provide local feedback to global category strategies and support cost reduction initiatives
Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, managing commercial topics, performance issues and sustainability topics

As a skilled negotiator and problem-solver, you are ready to drive procurement value and shape new ways of working. You approach challenges with both strategic perspective and practical execution, and you are comfortable stepping into a newly established role where your input will make a real difference. You know how to build trust across functions and are motivated by seeing ideas turn into results.

Have solid experience in sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiation across complex organisations
Are confident in engaging with both internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels
Are used to taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion
Bring a strong commercial mindset paired with analytical thinking and attention to detail
