Job Description

About Us (Hybrid Position)

At Intuva, we don’t just design mechanical systems — we create environments where innovation, efficiency, and reliability thrive. We are trusted partners for mission-critical projects, helping companies and government entities deliver facilities that power the HPC and AI workloads of the future. As we grow, we are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to bring technical excellence, leadership, and client-focused expertise to our high-performing team.

The Role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of mechanical systems for a variety of complex projects. You will take ownership of project outcomes, collaborate across disciplines, mentor junior staff, and directly contribute to the continued growth and technical standards of our company.

You will be responsible for:

Leading all aspects of mechanical system design (HVAC, piping, chilled water, hot water, steam, controls, etc.).

Ensuring deliverables meet project specifications, budgets, schedules, and code compliance (ASHRAE, IMC, NFPA, etc.).

Coordinating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams.

Innovating solutions to improve energy efficiency, system reliability, and project delivery.

Mentoring and developing junior engineers while fostering a culture of accountability and technical excellence.

What Success Looks Like

Deliver accurate, code-compliant designs on time with minimal rework.

Develop trusted client relationships and serve as a technical lead within the first 6–12 months.

Proactively solve complex mechanical challenges with creativity, precision, and clarity.

Elevate internal design standards through expertise, process improvements, and mentorship.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

Essential Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) (Required).

Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required).

7+ years of mechanical design experience across a range of building types or mission-critical facilities.

Expertise in ASHRAE standards, IMC, and other applicable codes.

Proficiency with design and modeling tools (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Trace 700, EnergyPlus, or similar).

Strong client communication skills — ability to translate technical details into actionable solutions.

Proven experience leading project scopes independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data centers, healthcare facilities, or industrial environments.

Construction administration experience (RFIs, submittal reviews, field inspections).

LEED accreditation or deep knowledge of sustainable design principles.

Attributes We Value

Action-Oriented: You take initiative and move projects forward without being prompted.

High Accountability: You own outcomes and adapt quickly to challenges.

Detail-Driven: You thrive on precision and technical excellence.

Collaborative Communicator: You work seamlessly across disciplines and with clients.

Resilient Problem-Solver: You stay focused under pressure and consistently seek the best solution.

Why Join Us?

Work on complex, high-impact projects that define mission-critical environments.

Join a collaborative, high-energy team where your contributions truly matter.

Expand your technical and leadership skills in a company committed to your professional growth.
