Job Description

*Must be willing to travel out of state*

Employees at this level are expected to have developed a trade of expertise for machine maintenance and production equipment repairs; Installs, maintains and repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, mechanical and electrical systems on all production equipment.

Inspects and test machinery and equipment for proper functionality

Performs repairs on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction is detected. May discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair the machine

Conduct diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units

Conduct diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic components of equipment and machines

Performs machine installations/moves and building maintenance tasks

Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment

Ensures an elevated level of safety is always adhered to on and off the production floor

Must promote teamwork by assisting in all areas as needs arise or as directed

Will be involved in tearing down machinery and relocating it to other locations
