Job Description

Senior Manager, Global Corporate Development Full-time

We are a leading global entertainment company and home to some of the world's largest digital storytelling platforms. As a pioneer in the mobile-first visual storytelling format, we have transformed the digital content landscape for a new generation of fans and creators.

Our ecosystem is powered by a user-generated content (UGC) platform that empowers anyone to become a creator, alongside a growing roster of superstar original creators and hit series that are defining the new face of pop culture. Our intellectual property is frequently adapted into successful series for major streaming services (including Netflix, Prime Video, and others), and we partner with world-class companies across technology, media, and entertainment.

The Global Corporate Development team works directly with the company's top management to define, analyze, and execute M&A/investment opportunities and strategic partnerships. This role is critical for our rapid global expansion as we actively pursue both organic and inorganic growth strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication skills for engaging both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiate, support, and drive the company’s strategic growth initiatives including partnerships, M&A, and new business development.

Collaborate with leaders within the company to identify, define, and analyze strategic initiatives, directly reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer.

Lead, coordinate, and support all phases of the M&A/investment and partnership process—from sourcing and evaluating to execution.

Conduct in-depth research on markets, competitors, and potential partners; maintain a strong external perspective and form expert viewpoints on fast-evolving market trends.

Build and cultivate relationships with industry partners, startups, and investors; represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and meetings.

Partner with cross-functional teams (including product, marketing, and content) to launch and execute strategic partnerships and new business initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 7+ years of experience at a top-tier company in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, or private equity.

Strong knowledge of the US content and media landscape.

Proficiency in financial modeling, corporate development, and the complete M&A lifecycle.

Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; capable of building complex financial models and executive-ready presentations to support decision-making.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Willingness to be hands-on and deeply involved in execution details.

Adaptable and flexible in response to changing business needs and priorities.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion.

Attention to detail; strong work ethic; proactive and calm under pressure.

High standards; results-oriented mindset; bold and conviction-driven thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience leading the end-to-end process of M&A or large-scale strategic partnerships.

Experience in project management, relationship management, and change management.

Professional working fluency in spoken and written Korean or Japanese.

MBA and/or international experience is a plus.

What We Offer:

Career Development: We believe in mentorship and investing in your learning, supporting you to achieve your goals.

Benefits: Health benefits, including vision and dental.

Time Off: Generous PTO and Parental Leave Top-up.

Retirement: 401K Contributions.

Perks: Commuter Benefits, employee discount programs, a winter break shutdown, and a whole lot more!
