Seasonal : Product Packaging Assistant

Job Description

We’re looking for a Seasonal Product Packaging Assistant to join our team for the busiest time of the year. This is a hands-on, full-time role based in our workshop where you’ll help assemble and pack our handmade aromatherapy shower steamers with care, consistency, and a strong team spirit. This position runs from 9/10/25 - 12/31/25

What You’ll Do:

As part of our packaging team, your daily tasks will include:

Following our packaging steps to efficiently pack shower steamer blends while keeping up with our standard team pace. Each product should be handled with care so it looks clean, neat, and ready for customers.

Helping pack finished products into bulk case boxes for shipment to our retail partners. This part of the job follows set efficiency standards, and attention to detail is crucial—making sure the right items go into each box, products are packed securely and correctly, and all labels are applied accurately.

Keeping packaging materials restocked, neat, and organized throughout the day, and letting a manager know when supplies are running low.

Working as part of a team and showing a team-first attitude—everyone pitches in to help with whatever is needed to complete the day’s workload.

Helping maintain a clean and functional workshop. No job is too small—each day ends with a group clean-up that includes wiping counters, sweeping floors, emptying trash, and restocking materials.

What We’re Looking For:

This is a physically active, fast-paced role. The right person is dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to work hard as part of a team. You should:

Be consistently punctual and ready to work at the start of each shift

Be able to stand for 7+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Be available full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wear PPE when required and follow all safety protocols

Dress appropriately: closed-toe shoes (sneakers preferred) and clothes that can get dusty

No workshop/warehouse experience required. We’ll be training you!

Preferred Qualifications:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Able to stay focused and efficient while completing repetitive, hands-on tasks

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and quality

Dependable, punctual, and committed to showing up ready to work each day

Follows instructions well and is open to feedback and training

Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout the day

Backgrounds in retail, food service, stocking, or other active, task-driven roles tend to do well in this position—but we’re open to all relevant experience!

Perks:

$18/hour starting pay

Each full 8-hour shift includes a paid 45-minute lunch break and a paid 15-minute afternoon break approx. at 3pm.

“Half-Day Friday” on the first Friday of every month—work until 12 PM, but get paid for the full 8-hour day

6 days of Paid Holiday Time-off – Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, Day after Christmas (12/26), New Year’s Day
