Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering concepts, project management, and hands-on experience in construction and consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical systems for residential and commercial projects.
Perform calculations and create schematics to support system concepts.
Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality standards are met.
Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including grounding, bonding, and lighting.
Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure integrated system design.
Conduct reviews and provide consulting on electrical distribution, transfer switching, and UPS systems.
Ensure compliance with LEED standards and ICAT/AV requirements.
Prepare and review technical drawings and documentation for construction projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and related calculations.
Experience with residential and commercial electrical systems.
Familiarity with LEED certification processes and requirements.
Consulting experience a plus!
Proficient in creating and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
