Estimator - Site Development
Location: Scottsboro, AL (or surrounding areas)
Salary: $100K-$140K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, analyzing bid specifications, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful project execution. This role is crucial in supporting our civil construction projects and ensuring competitive bidding processes.
Key Responsibilities
Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
Typical projects range from $3M-$25M
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for civil construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids.
Conduct market research to determine competitive pricing and procurement strategies.
Submit bid proposals and participate in bid presentations as needed.
Analyze project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
Monitor project costs and budgets during construction to ensure compliance with estimates.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Estimator in civil construction projects or commercial construction projects
Experience in Estimating projects from $3M-25M
Business Development expeirence
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
