MRI Technologist - $20,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Position Details:

Shift: Varies

Hours Per Week: 40 hours/week, 10-hour shifts

Rotating call required

SEIU Local 49 represented position

$20,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out over a 2 year commitment period

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the lead MRI tech, the department director and interpreting physician, performs computer-assisted scanning procedures in MRI.

Included is the ability to properly position the patient, knowledge of various computer programs, the scanning protocols and coils needed for each case, as well as proper administration/monitoring of IV contrast and contrast injectors as well as safety protocols.

Qualifications:

Current ARRT registry or ARMRIT certification and Oregon State licensure.

Advanced registry in MRI is required within one year.

Current BLS certification required.

Prior experience in ACR accreditation preferred.

Prior supervisory experience preferred.

At least one year of experience in MRI preferred, preferably in a hospital setting or has completed McKenzie Willamette Medical Center's clinical training requirements.

Ability to perform essential job functions and job-specific competencies.

Must be able to work without supervision, be motivated, and a self-starter.

Must possess strong interpersonal relations skills and high sensibility to the needs of others, including the ability to communicate with patients and their families, physicians, supervisors, peers, volunteers and other customers.
