Summary:
Provide maintenance support in a paint, flocking, assembly and plastic injection molding facility to ensure the production of quality products with on-time delivery. This includes performing corrective and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment; including plastic injection molding machines, hydraulics, robots, paint equipment, conveyors, material grinders, vacuum pumps, and other equipment.
Qualifications:
Five years of maintenance experience for a plastic injection molder.
Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic background and abilities.
Must work independently and take initiative.
Experience with and be skilled in reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and PLC ladder drawings. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
Must be computer literate and familiar with appropriate software programs.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (Kanban, 5s, Std, Work, Problem Solving, etc.)
Must have a valid fork truck license issued by Mold Masters Company.
Education
High school diploma or GED is required.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily and weekly maintenance checks on all molding machines,
flocking and/or paint robots.
Responsible to work with Molding, Flocking or Painting Supervisors to schedule any
routine or emergency maintenance or repair.
Identify and complete purchase order for replacement parts.
Responsible for building and miscellaneous equipment.
May be responsible for maintaining the security system, sprinkler system, fire extinguishers and oil disposal.
Responsible to keep facility, equipment and machinery up to current OSHA standards.
Responsible to document all work done on the Work Order Forms.
May be responsible for the installation of new machinery and/or equipment.
Operate fork lift as required.
Supports the development, implementation and maintenance of a fully functional quality operating system.
Coordinates and communicates any schedule changes, material or department problems with other production personnel.
May perform preventive maintenance on plastic injection molding machines.
Perform corrective maintenance on robots, conveyors, material grinders, vacuum pumps, and hot stamping machines.
Run daily reports and inspections on hydraulic machines.
Know and follow all IATF-16949 / ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
Adherence to Company Policies and Regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
