Job Description

Akkodis, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafter with AutoCAD experience to create structural and civil related CAD drawings. This role is located in Columbus, OH and offers a potential temp-to-hire opportunity. Qualifications include 6+ months of AutoCAD experience or a CAD certification or Associate degree in a related field.

Salary Range: $18-23 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

CAD Drafter Job Responsibilities Include :

· Working with site surveys, translating field notes to develop and update conduit/ cable engineering design drawings in AutoCAD

· Working on drawings related to the outside Plant telecom industry, public right-of-way, private easements, existing utilities such as water, sewer, electric, gas, and other underground and aerial utilities

· Interact with the local municipalities, Telco engineers and construction/maintenance forces to acquire OSP Records, ICGS, Assessor Maps, map info, AIS and Construction Prints

· Working with base-mapping, GIS and layering, Outside Plant, running line, conduit and cable design for copper, fiber optics, coax, manholes, hand holes, Make-Ready Engineering and poles (aerial and underground)

Qualifications:

· 6+ months of AutoCAD experience OR a CAD certification OR Associate degree in a related field

· Ability to read blueprints, conduit prints or floor plans

Pay Details: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
