Job Description

Operations / Dispatch Responsibilities and duties

· Must be able to understand and efficiently operate our “Truck Mate” system

· Driver Check-in

· Work Flexible hours as needed including weekends

· Multi task

· Order entry

· Communicate with drivers – driver retention

· Organize daily pick ups – Local, Regional, Outbound, Inbound

· Update any load deviation to operations

· Post loads

· Communicate effectively via phone and e-mail

· Planning / Scheduling

· Dispatch drivers

· Willing to cross train to all dispatch positions

Qualifications and Skills

· 2-5 yrs min in a Logistics environment

· Work in a fast pace environment

· Self-Starter

· Team Player

· Organized

· Detailed oriented
