Success in this role will depend on possessing excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail.

About the role

Drive continuous improvement through supplier scorecards, yield reviews, and quality KPIs

Utilize advanced statistical tools (SPC, Cp/Cpk, Gage R&R, DOE) and platforms such as Minitab to validate and monitor supplier process capability

Build dashboards and quality reports using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools to track trends and support data-driven decision making

Champion a culture of AI awareness and application in quality engineering, including exploring automation of root cause analysis, predictive yield modeling, and anomaly detection

Collaborate with internal and external teams across Mexico and globally to align quality expectations and drive resolution of technical issues

Support product launch builds and ongoing mass production activities through on-site supplier engagement

We’re excited if you have

BS (or higher) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field

5+ years of supplier and manufacturing quality experience, ideally in consumer electronics, automotive, or high-volume hardware manufacturing

Demonstrated experience with PPAP, FAI, process capability studies, and supplier audits

Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, including Minitab, JMP, Excel VBA, or Python for statistical analysis

Hands-on experience building quality dashboards or automated reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

Curiosity and working knowledge of how AI/ML tools can be used in quality engineering (e.g., for predictive analytics, visual inspection, or anomaly detection)

Familiarity with RBA or ISO9001 principles and supplier social responsibility standards

Clear and professional communication skills in both English and Spanish

Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% as needed

Nice to have

Industry experience in TV manufacturing, flat panel display assembly, or consumer electronics involving displays

Understanding of display-specific quality issues such as mura, dead pixels, glass handling, and optical calibration

The Roku Culture

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
