As we continue to scale, we are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Manager of Technology Portfolio Operations to join our team.

As the Sr. Manager of Technology Portfolio Operations, you will lead efforts to optimize our technology delivery lifecycle, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and ensure alignment between engineering, product, and business priorities. You will be responsible for translating strategic goals into scalable systems, managing change initiatives, and driving performance across technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Functional Partnership

Apply agile delivery and operational frameworks to improve collaboration and outcomes across engineering, product and analytics teams.

Balance structured systems with adaptability to meet evolving organizational needs.

Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, analytics, product, and business teams by coordinating capacity planning, resolving conflicts, and driving shared priorities.

Standardize workflows, documentation, and communication rhythms to support efficient technology delivery.

Strategy Deployment

Ensure effective execution and prioritization across all technology pillars and engineering teams.

Translate strategic vision into actionable plans and initiatives in collaboration with technology leadership.

Continuously refine operational processes to streamline workflows and improve delivery effectiveness.

Change Leadership

Coach and support teams in adopting new systems and processes, building trust and driving adoption.

Lead change management efforts, anticipating challenges and proactively implementing solutions.

Foster a culture of innovation through process improvements and new methodologies.

Provide leadership and guidance during periods of transition.

Performance Optimization

Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track KPIs, delivery timelines, and process efficiency

Provide regular operational insights to executive leadership, translating delivery metrics and team performance into strategic recommendations.

Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate operational effectiveness, using data insights to identify improvements and drive performance.

Build and evolve operational frameworks that scale with the organization, ensuring consistency across product lines and delivery teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

7+ years of experience in operations, portfolio management, or strategy within a tech product company or similar environment.

Demonstrated expertise in deploying strategic initiatives and driving organizational change.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in project and/or program management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical mindset with a track record of leveraging data to inform decision-making.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proven success operating in large, matrixed organizations with multiple product lines and engineering teams.

Comfort with ambiguity and a strategic mindset to navigate complex, evolving business needs.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$115,500 - $192,500
