CNC Operator 2nd Shift

Join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturing equipment supplier, as a 2nd Shift CNC Operator!

Responsibilities:

Operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts.

Load parts in machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools.

Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains safe, organized and clean work environment.

Perform typical machine shop operations.

Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

Clean and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on machines, tooling and parts.

Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results),"

Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sewing and sanding.

Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.

Assist in other work areas, including but not limited to, perform fabrication, lay-up, infiltration, furnace operation and sand blasting.Requirements:

High School Diploma or graduation from certified technical school.

2+ years of related experience required

Must have knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures and other accessories used on various machines.

Experience operating lathes and milling machines along with precision measuring instruments preferred.

Must have strong oral and written communication skills, and be able to follow verbal and written instructions well.

Some programming experience preferred.

Must be able to stand for long periods and be adaptable to a changing work environment as well.

Must be open to being exposed to noise, fumes and varying temperatures.

Must be able to perform repetitive motions and must have strong finger dexterity and foot movement.

Basic math skills that include geometry and algebra to calculate material fabrication.Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Salary: $26-29/Hour, Based on Experience*This is a 1-1.5 year project role
