Occupational Therapist (PRN)

Pennswood Village, a Senior Living community located in Newtown, PA, Bucks County, is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house therapy team. Our in-house model ensures consistency of care, closer collaboration, and stronger connections with residents.

Responsibilities:

Address residents performance needs to support health, well-being, and quality of life.

Select and adapt appropriate treatment models and approaches based on each residents needs.

Apply interventions that promote safety and independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).

Teach residents strategies for task completion by breaking down activities into achievable steps.

Assess home and facility environments and recommend modifications to maximize independence.

Recommend, train, and monitor the use of adaptive equipment.

Educate and guide families and caregivers to support resident progress.

Document care services, track progress toward goals, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
