Job Description:

Raritan Valley Community College's Admissions Department is seeking a Adult Outreach Admissions Coach. Under the guidance of the Director of Admissions, the Adult Outreach Admissions Coach will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with community partners?including high schools, businesses, religious organizations, cultural associations, and public libraries. This position is responsible for promoting college programs with a focus on adult learners and career training initiatives. Through dynamic presentations and personalized outreach, the Admissions Coach will guide prospective students through the admissions process and foster strong engagement with the community.

Essential Duties:

Conduct targeted outreach and develop partnerships with high schools, businesses, religious and cultural organizations, and public libraries to promote adult education opportunities and college programs.

Represent the College at recruitment events?both on and off campus?including evenings and weekends, to build awareness and support recruitment efforts.

Deliver engaging presentations to prospective students and community groups about fast-track degrees, career training programs, and financial aid opportunities and scholarships; revise and adapt presentations as needed.

Design and implement communication strategies using CRM and Banner systems to track, engage, and nurture prospective student leads; use data to identify and target key demographic markets.

Maintain consistent and personalized communication with prospective students through email, phone, virtual platforms, social media, text, and in-person meetings.

Provide admissions counseling and guidance throughout the application process, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and procedures.

Collaborate with college departments and faculty on outreach efforts and recruitment initiatives; support enrollment and retention strategies for adult learners.

Requirements:

Associate's degree required.

Experience delivering professional presentations and communicating with diverse populations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools; ability to generate reports and manage data.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).

Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required; travel within assigned territory.

Flexible schedule with availability for evening and weekend events as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience in admissions, recruitment, or student services is a plus.

Additional Information:

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, lifting (up to 20 lbs.), and use of computer monitors.

General office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend work required.
