Laboratory Technician

Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Greenwood, SC

Industry: Pharmaceutical

Hours: M-F: 8am-5pm

Salary: Up to $27.03/hr. depending on experience

Employment Type: Up to 6-month contract, but could be extended

The company's products and services include active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), stem cell therapies, drinking water sanitizers, vitamin B compounds, organic personal care ingredients, industrial preservatives and microbial control solution to combat viruses, bacteria and other dangerous pathogens.

Responsibilities:

Conduct independent analytical testing to support the development and quality check of company's ingredient portfolio. One will be supporting both the product development and quality control departments.

Facilitate technology transfer and assist in onboarding global local testing laboratories for the ingredients business.

Perform competitive product evaluations through laboratory testing and analysis.

Contribute to the development and validation of stability testing methods tailored to customer-specific finished products.

Identify and implement opportunities to enhance and innovate testing methodologies for our ingredients.

Proactively monitor and analyze market trends to uncover competitive insights and potential threats.

Collaborate with the commercial team to address technical inquiries from customers with timely and accurate information. Qualifications:

Candidates who recently completed Bachelor's degree or are Master's student nearing graduation will be considered.

Completion of industry related internship is a plus.

Knowledge of or experience of cGMP, GLP, FDA policies and regulations.

One may be required to wear PPE gowning. EOE/ADA
