Sr. Windows Server Automation Engineer

Our client, a technology solutions provider company located in San Francisco, CA, needs a Sr. Windows Server Automation Engineer for permanent employment. The Sr. Windows Server Automation Engineer will remotely, PST Hours, and oversee the infrastructure automation efforts in a complex hybrid enterprise environment. The Sr. Server Automation Engineer will take ownership of patching, OS deployments, application packaging, and automation pipelines.

Required Skills:

5 years of experience administering and supporting large-scale Windows Server environments in an enterprise setting.

5 years of hands-on experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure services, including hybrid cloud deployments and integration strategies.

5 years of practical expertise using Ansible for infrastructure automation and Packer for creating and maintaining consistent machine images.

Demonstrated success in automating pre- and post-deployment actions, patch management, and server provisioning workflows.

Previous experience with MECM or SCCM patching

Desired Skills:

Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities for automation, orchestration, and system administration.

Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and a variety of infrastructure monitoring tools.
