DevOps Engineer (Charlotte)

Our client, a leading technology firm, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the operations team supporting application development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

Pay Range: $65.06 per hour

What's the Job?

Collaborate with application development teams and proactively provide operational assistance for feature delivery.

Manage branching of code, continuous build, test, and deploy processes.

Support pre-production and production environments.

Troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution.

Improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of the continuous integration environment. What's Needed?

7+ years of strong experience with CI/CD tool sets including BitBucket, Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory, Ansible Tower, Python, and Bash scripting.

Experience with Agile tools, particularly Bitbucket.

7+ years of strong experience with Middleware including WebSphere, JBOSS, Apache, and IBM HTTP.

Experience with build and deploy support in a large corporate environment, preferably within the financial industry.

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills. What's in it for me?
