We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for designing electrical control systems for safe, effective, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop system test plans for design validation of capital equipment medical devices
Define test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability. Create test procedures based on product requirements
Troubleshoot failed Print Circuit Board Assembly (PBCA) including board level analysis and root cause analysis methodology. Rework failed PCBAs and create rework instructions for board manufacturers
Design and document cable harnesses using Computer Aided Design software. Coordinate with external vendors to ensure cables are fabricated correctly based on design requirements
Review and interpret customer electrical specifications and fabricate electrical test fixtures according to specifications
Design and document electrical test fixtures including hardware and software. Provide strategies for verification slash commissioning of fixtures
Create work instructions and forms and maintain documentation in the document management system
Train and support internal personnel and external vendors on proper use of test fixtures including off site locations
Test firmware of embedded systems according to defined test plan and log defects in an issue tracking system
Complete and maintain all required paperwork in the ERP system, records, and documents as they are related to the design.
Interface with customers, suppliers and internal personnel, work with PCBA suppliers to support test fixtures.
Understand and apply specifications and regulatory information to the design and relevant processes.
Assist and/or lead in building low volume prototypes including PCBAs and cables.
Travel as required to customers and/or suppliers to support compliance testing
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience and Training:
3-5 Years of related experience
Understand, interpret, and create electrical schematics for control systems
Strong computer, math and oral/written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to create / read electrical drawings and diagrams
Knowledge of P printed circuit board assembly and test processes PCB a rework using surface mount technology and soldering is preferred
Ability to run a technical presentation and speak professionally
LabVIEW programming knowledge is preferred
Microsoft Office tools

Cable harness CAD software experience (SolidWorks electrical or rapid harness
Physical and Mental Demands:
Regularly required to troubleshoot, read, write, and problem solve
Must be able to assemble electrical components and use computer CAD software
Specific vision abilities include precise hand movements and use of tools, lifting up to 30 pounds.
