Machine Operator / Setup Technician

Location: Grove City, OH

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Schedule: 4/10 (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Position Overview

Empire Workforce Solutions is hiring an experienced Machine Operator / Setup Technician for our client in Grove City, OH. This role is best suited for candidates with strong mechanical skills who are looking for a long-term opportunity. You will primarily operate machines while assisting with setups, adjustments, and training responsibilities.Key Responsibilities

Operate production machinery (approximately 80% of the shift).

Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting (approximately 20%).

Use tools such as allen wrenches, socket wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, cutters, and clippers.

Remove and trim excess plastic from parts.

Inspect products for quality and package as needed.

Complete production paperwork accurately.

Train and support machine operators after initial training.

Start up machines at the beginning of shifts and shut down equipment at the end of the day.

Provide leadership support in the absence of supervisors or management.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Machine Operator or Mechanical Technician.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.

Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts in a hot, non-climate-controlled environment.

Steel-toe shoes required (shorts and short sleeves permitted).

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (bilingual is a plus).
