Key Responsibilities
Instructional Support:
Reinforce lessons, help students with assignments, provide one-on-one or small-group tutoring, and implement IEP goals.
Behavioral Support:
Implement behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement, assist with behavioral intervention plans, and provide crisis intervention when needed.
Student Care & Supervision:
Assist students with personal care needs (e.g., eating, hygiene, mobility), supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.
Classroom Management:
Help maintain a tidy and organized classroom, prepare materials, and create a positive and safe learning environment.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of student progress, including data collection for academic and behavioral plans.
