MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES 06.00 AM

MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES 1.30 PM

£12.71 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in ALDRIDGE, WEST MIDLANDS.

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a 3.5 Tonne Driver will involve but not be limited to:

Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently

15-minute vehicle check

Sometimes working with a driver's mate

Communicating with the Transport Manager daily

Communicating with customers in a kind and friendly manner

Occasionally completing a night out

Delivering anything from building supplies to furniture

Using navigation tools, such as a satnav, to complete drops

Essential Skills

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK Category B Driving Licence

Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category B vehicles

No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes

Must have good knowledge of UK road network

Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills

Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations

Effective communication skills

Must be over 21 years old due to insurance purposes

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial

Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial

Training

Online assessment to be done before assignment starts
