Schedule: Full-time
Under the direction of the Assistant Executive Director, manages the logistics of the training and operations section; manages the facilities needs of the OPOTA main campus and Tactical Training Center (TTC); Invoices organizations for course fees; procures all necessary equipment for the training section; supervises the OPOTA main campus and TTC support personnel; manages the Law Enforcement Memorial Service; manages the Law Enforcement Training Symposium; makes recommendations for changes &/or updates; develops annual goals & objectives & disseminates, directs, corrects as needed to accomplish approved goals & objectives; prepares reports concerning the activities in this section;
Manages memorandums of understanding functions; procures off-site training locations; manages the advanced training subject matter experts; liaisons for OPOTA building renovations; participates in interviews and makes recommendations for hire of qualified individuals. Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Executive Director.
Represents the Executive Director/ Assistant Executive Director on various committees, conferences, meetings, legislative hearings, & public appearances; acts as a liaison with other agencies, organizations, and stakeholders.
5 years supervisory experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Law enforcement experience is preferred but not required
