THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager, US GAAP Accounting to lead our international accounting team in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the US GAAP close process for over 30 international entities. This is a crucial leadership position where you'll not only manage a core function but also drive significant process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and collaborate closely with global finance teams to support our rapid growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual US GAAP close process for 30+ international entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Strengthen internal controls and ensure SOX compliance by implementing and continuously improving key controls across the international accounting function.

Partner with local, regional, and U.S. accounting teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment on financial processes and reporting timelines.

Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and new technologies to enhance the efficiency of the close, reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Support major finance transformation projects, including ERP implementation and other initiatives aimed at building a world-class accounting function.

WHAT YOU BRING

Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).

A strong background in multinational environments with substantial experience in leading a financial close process and managing accounting operations for multiple entities.

Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP, internal controls, and audit management.

A proven ability to drive process improvements and a hands-on, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Proficiency in a major ERP system (SAP preferred) and strong technical skills in data analysis (e.g., advanced Excel/Google Sheets).

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Dublin, Ireland office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
