VP Operations

Our client, a renowned and rapidly expanding hospitality group, is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Vice President of Operations to join their senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and optimise the operational performance of multiple hospitality sites across the region- with a strong focus on the Africa market.

Develop and implement robust operational strategies that align with the group’s vision and growth objectives.

Lead and mentor senior property-level teams, ensuring consistency in service standards, operational efficiency, and profitability.

Drive best practices across all sites with a strong focus on guest experience, quality assurance, and financial performance.

Establish and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders across multiple markets, with particular focus on the African hospitality arena.

Support expansion initiatives, pre-opening strategies, and integration of new properties into the portfolio.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on brand standards, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

Candidate Profile: Proven track record in a senior operational leadership role within the hospitality sector (minimum 15 years, including at least 5 years at VP/Regional Director level). Strong multi-site management experience, ideally across diverse international markets including a strong focus on the Africa market.

In-depth knowledge and operational expertise within the African hospitality landscape is highly desirable.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Commercially astute, with a demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and financial results.

Flexible to travel extensively across the region as required.
