Job Title: Driver Helper

Job Description

Join our team as a Driver Helper in the Trim and Door department, where you will play a crucial role in loading and unloading trucks, carrying doors and shelving units up to 75 lbs, and stocking the warehouse. You will also be part of a team responsible for pulling and bunking materials, loading delivery trucks, and assisting customers with their material needs.

Responsibilities

Build loads for deliveries.

Load and unload building materials.

Assist customers with material needs.

Operate a forklift (training provided).

Essential Skills

At least 1 year of warehouse/loading/unloading experience.

Ability to accurately load the truck.

Familiarity with basic construction materials.

Ability to lift 75 pounds consistently.

Pass the tape measure/metric measure test.

Must be able to work under minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

General labor, construction, warehouse production experience.

Material handling experience.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean environment, split between indoor facilities and outdoor docks. Please note this is not a climate-controlled setting, so candidates should be comfortable working in various conditions. The shift is from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, and 7am to 1pm on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
