Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Electrician to join our team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems in residential homes while delivering a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, professional demeanor, and a passion for safety and quality workmanship.

Job Duties:

Safe completion of electrical service calls

Light remodels

Build and execute accurate repair estimates

Educate customers on electrical/generator parts and products when necessary

Perform routine maintenance

Train junior team members

Participate actively in all training exercises and meetings

Various tasks assigned by all managers and subject to change based on company needs

Diagnose and repair residential electrical issues, including outlets, switches, breakers, panels, and lighting

Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics

Ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) and local electrical codes

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer interactions

Communicate clearly with homeowners and provide solutions and estimates as needed

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service requests

Requirements:

5+ years electrical experience

Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs, work outdoors, crawl in small spaces, and climb ladders on a regular basis

All candidates are subject to pre-employment drug screenings and background checks

All applicants shall, unless otherwise described in the job requirements, possess a valid driver's license and shall demonstrate safe driving practice by submitting a recent DMV Safe Driving Record
