SHIFT: 1st Shift Friday-Sunday 7am-7:30pm $20.00/hour
SUMMARY
Responsible for operating machines, handling materials, and use of other assigned tools, as well as powder coating paint products as they go through the paint line. Ensure a safe and clean environment at all times.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for operating machines as well as handling of materials.
Maintain paint equipment.
Load and unload parts on and off of the paint line conveyor.
Keep assigned tools organized.
Perform assigned tasks in a timely and orderly manner.
Maintain high quality standard for products being painted.
Understand general pre-prep operation, includes viewing product for defects before entering the paint booth.
Maintain safe work practices and environment.
Ability to move products throughout the paint area.
Communicate as necessary with coworkers and supervisors.
Additional duties as assigned by leads, supervisors, and management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Powder Coat is preferred but not required.
Ability to use a tape measure, micrometer(preferred)
Ability to work while standing for long periods (10-12 hour shifts) with heavy lifting continuously under extreme temperatures.
Can work successfully in a team environment and/or independently and is able to take direction from others. Self-Starter, Team Player.
Heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds), bending, and stooping throughout shift.
Punctuality a must.
