Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (PMP) to oversee the successful delivery of Medicaid-related data management projects. The Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder coordination, and risk management expertise in healthcare IT environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee project timelines, risks, budgets, and deliverables across Medicaid modernization initiatives.
Coordinate and collaborate with state IT resources, Department of Social Services (DSS) staff, and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and governance frameworks.
Manage multiple IT projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Develop and deliver monthly status reports, progress updates, and executive briefings.
Apply project management best practices (PMBOK, Agile, or Hybrid) to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on data management or healthcare IT.
PMP certification required (active status).
Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Experience with Medicaid modernization or healthcare IT projects preferred.
