Job Description Description: The Weatherization Energy Auditor is responsible for assessing clients' housing needs.
This position estimates and oversees work for HEAP/Weatherization, DOE and other associated Energy and Housing Programs, and provides client education about energy conservation and other housing-related issues.

Working knowledge of residential carpentry, energy conservation, weatherization techniques, local and state building codes, heating systems and rehab techniques, preferably with hands on experience.
Associates Degree and five years' related work experience and/or equivalent training in the housing and energy related field.Working knowledge of residential carpentry, energy conservation, weatherization techniques, local and state building codes, heating systems and rehab techniques, preferably with hands on experience.Must be able to meet agency requirements for background checks.
Ability to pass SBI, DMV, DHHS, fraud and Sex Offender Registry background checks.
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch.
Ability to lift and carry 65 lb.
