Salary Range: $85K - $100K Permanent Position with Benefits Columbus / Newark, Ohio area Engineering Firm seeks an experienced Assistant Transportation Project Manager to plan and manage Civil Engineering Construction Projects.
REQUIREMENTS: Engineering License and having a minimum of (5) years of hands-on experience overseeing the following projects: Highway / Roadway improvements, roundabouts, traffic signals, highway lighting, multi-use trails, sidewalks, transportation planning, streetscape, storm sewer systems, and culverts.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
Supervise associates by providing ongoing direction specific to project tasks, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Assign work to staff & sub-contractors, monitor project budgets, review invoicing, establish and monitoring quality requirements.
Provide mentorship and manage the performance activities of Staff Members Maintain communication with clients and regulatory agencies Identify project risks and monitor/mitigate risk throughout the project Prepare and submit proposals / contracts, determine project requirements, budget, deliverables, and scope based upon client requirements Follow the company's QA/QC Performance Standards Proficient in MS Office and computer-aided design software Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
