Technical Writer

We are seeking a Technical Training Content Developer to support a high-performing team focused on improving service outcomes through effective training. This role involves creating and maintaining technical training materials for dealership personnel, primarily automotive technicians, with an emphasis on vehicle systems, diagnostics, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and maintain online self-study modules (40%)

+ Create and update hands-on training center skill modules (30%)

+ Conduct market studies and needs analyses to identify performance improvement opportunities (15%)

+ Complete assigned special projects (15%)

Qualifications:

+ ASE certifications A1–A8 required; L1 & L3 preferred

+ Strong proficiency in on-vehicle diagnostics and repairs

+ Experience with diagnostic and service systems such as i-HDS, SIS, and iN

+ Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe tools, and AI-based documentation platforms

+ Familiarity with training and publication development processes is a plus

+ Must be able to work onsite in Torrance, CA

It is a 1 year W2 contract paying $35 to $39.74 an hour pending experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $39.74 - $39.74/hr.
