3Months Contract W2 and Converted to Full Time Employment
We are seeking a motivated Electromechanical Assembler responsible for assembling and modifying electromechanical equipment such as switchboards and lighting panels using mechanical tools, blueprints, and work instructions. This role involves operating hand and power tools, processing work orders through computers/scanning devices, interpreting engineering documents (blueprints, bills of material, one-line diagrams), gathering required parts, assembling subassemblies and units, fastening and wiring components, and verifying units against specifications and tolerances. Additional duties include disassembly/adjustments, reporting non-conformances, preparing units for shipment, maintaining equipment/work area, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Assemble, fasten, wire, and test electromechanical units/subassemblies.
Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
Operate hand/power tools, measuring instruments, and basic computer systems.
Process, scan, and track work orders per production schedules.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
Education HSD or Associate Degree
Skills: Basic computer skills, mechanical and measuring tools proficiency.
Abilities: English literacy, ability to lift 50 lbs, stoop, bend, squat, crawl, climb, and perform coordinated hand/arm movements.
Other: Minimum 18 years, safety and quality-oriented, adaptable, cooperative, and analytical with strong spatial reasoning.
